Dr. Jennifer Ochoa (Board Certified Pediatric Dentist)
Hi, I’m Dr. Ochoa, I have been a dentist since 2004 and completed my pediatric residency in 2006 right here in San Antonio. I have never been a dentist for any population other than children! Children are my true passion. I opened my practice June 2008 and it has been a blast ever since! I’m a wife to the best husband in the world, a step-mom to 3 fantastic teenagers and a new mommy to twin baby girls born on my 30th birthday. What a treat! I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, but all my post-doctoral training has been here in San Antonio. I look forward to meeting you and more important, becoming a part of your little one's precious smile!
Dr. Christina Gonzales (Pediatric Dentist)
I’m a native Texan raised in Del Rio, and am fluent in Spanish. My true passion is working with children. I have dreamed of becoming a pediatric dentist since I was in the eighth grade. I am a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie and received my bachelor's degree in biomedical science in 2002. I attended the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in San Antonio, where I received my DDS and completed my certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. In 2009, I married Robert and am having fun being a newlywed. Robert is also an Aggie and works as a project designer for a local architectural firm. We love traveling, attending Texas A&M football games and spending time with family. I also enjoy staying active in local community service events and have volunteered in numerous dental mission trips to Mexico, including one as far as Oaxaca. I currently serve as president-elect for the Greater San Antonio Hispanic Dental Association. I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association and San Antonio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Jeannie Sosa, RDH (Office Manager/ Hygienist)
Hello, my name is Jeannie and I am a registered dental hygienist. I am the office manager, but you may find me doing a little of everything in the office. I have been a hygienist for 31 years! I have taught dental hygiene and currently sit on both the advisory committee for the State Board of Dental Examiners and as a WREB examiner. I moved to San Antonio to help open Dentistry for Little Folks in May 2008. I am married to my wonderful husband, a mom to my 2 grown babies, and a new grandma to my twin angels. Here is a piece of information that not everyone knows at the start – I’m Dr. Ochoa’s mom! I look forward to working with you and your little folks very soon.
Melissa Lugo (Insurance / Billing Coordinator)
I am the insurance and billing coordinator at Dentistry for Little Folks. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, where I also went to dental assisting school and earned by RDA-EF license. I have worked in the dental field since the beginning of the new millennium (2000) and with Dr. O since the office opened in June 2008. I married to my best friend, Alex, and have 3 beautiful girls who are my life – Leilani, Savannah and Bella. Most who know me would say I’m a teeth freak. I would have to agree! I have such a love for teeth that I try to educate everyone who will listen to me on good oral health. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones when you come into the office and join our Dentistry for Little Folks family!!
Candi Coeuille (Front Desk Coordinator)
Hi my name is Candi Coeuille (Co-well-ee) and I am the front desk coordinator at Dentistry for Little Folks. I was born at the Navy Base in Pensacola, Fla. My mother said it was the happiest day of her life. I have been married for 15 years to my wonderful husband, John. We have 3 children – Carli, Gabi and Christian. I am currently a student at NW Vista working towards my goal of nursing school. My family moved to San Antonio from Seattle, Wash., in the summer of 2008. Shortly after moving to San Antonio, I brought my kids in for a dental appointment to Dr. Ochoa. I liked it so much that I asked to stay!
Tammy Philips (Front Desk Coordinator)
My name is Tammy Philips, and I was raised in San Angelo, Texas. I’ve lived in San Antonio for the past 15 years. I have one adorable daughter, Chloe and a wonderful husband, Chris. I am the treatment coordinator here in the office. I am also a registered dental assistant, so I help out when needed. I have been a dental assistant with my Radiology Certificate since 1995. I have been working with Dentistry for Little Folks since January 2009.
Liz Arausa (Lead Dental Assistant)
Hi, my name is Liz Arauza and I am a registered dental assistant here at Dentistry For Little Folks. I have been a pediatric dental assistant for 13 years and began working at Dentistry for Little Folks in June 2008, since the very start! My certifications include: Sealants, Nitrous Oxide, Radiology anf CPR, and I am also credentialed for Hospital Dentistry. I was raised here in San Antonio. I am married to my wonderful husband, Ray, and we have 3 children - Warren, Bryanna and Gavin. I look forward to meeting and working with your children in the future.
Tatyana Coquat (Dental Assistant)
My name is Tatyana Coquat, and I grew up in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I immigrated to the United States a little more than 10 years ago and have lived in various places before settling down in San Antonio. I have 2 beautiful daughters – Anastasia and Yekaterina. My career as a dental assistant began in 2003, when I attended the dental assistant training program offered through Red Cross in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. I have been working for Dentistry for Little Folks since August 2009. I am a registered dental assistant, certified in nitrous oxide and radiology.
Stephanie (Dental Assistant)
Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a registered dental assistant here at Dentistry for Little Folks. I have been an assistant for almost 2 years and I have enjoyed learning new things here with Dr. Ochoa and Dr. Gonzales. I love working with kids, but don’t have any of my own just yet. I am a newlywed! I married my husband almost one year ago. We enjoy spending time together, cooking, or just holding hands. I can’t wait to meet your babies, kids and pre-teens!
